This is a small hotel in an excellent location in the middle of the old city of Antalya. The staff is friendly, conversant in five languages and eager to be of assistance. The rooms are small but well appointed. The beds are old and need to be replaced in the very near future. Bathrooms are fine, great showers, lots of windows and good AC. Free Internet  access throughout the hotel. Very good Turkish breakfast. It is an Art Hotel, in that the second floor has an exhibit of local art but in the week we were there we never saw anyone looking around. Lovely pool area and lots of outdoor garden seating for reading, drinking tea or raki or as, many did, smoking. The hotel says it is smoke free but there is a great deal of flexibility to that statement. On two occasions we had to relocate our breakfast table due to the smoke from others, but it is all outdoors and it was easy to move around. The location is perfect for walking everywhere and walking is the best, and in some cases, the only way to get around. Excellent quality and value for the money.

Our room in the sister hotel was VERY SMALL. Between the end of the bed and the windows there was only about a foot of space, no chair, no nightstand lamps, no place to open the suitcases. No power outlets in the room. The bathroom was also tiny. One had to sit diagonally on the toilet! (and I'm only 5'3"!). After one brief shower we ran out of hot  water, second person had to shower with cold water. Staff did not speak English in this part, but we managed because I speak German. The door had a big bulls eye window which lets the light in during the night. However, the person at the front desk helped some bringing an extension cord and a lamp.

Nice Hotel, typical old Turkish house, in the historic center, very close to the shopping center and bazar. When I reached the hotel there was a problem with the reservation, my friends were sent to another hotel but with lower services. The swimming pool is a really small (but there is one) as weel as the rooms I got; this one needs also to be renewed  and some furnitures repaired or replaced. I also noted that wooden houses are noisy. But the employees are very helpful and everything is clean. Parking a car is a nightmare, as well as finding the hotel even with a GPS. The best is to take a taxi.

The larger rooms are lovely with great Turkish character however, the pool area looks much bigger than it is and the pool is in shade all day so if you are looking for somewhere to sunbathe this hotel is not for you. Also, our friends stayed there in a twin room which was tiny, had a table and courtyard right outside it which had people sitting in it and talking at night and in the early morning so if staying in a twin room make sure you request not to be in that room. On arrival the manager tried to get us (having prepaid for a twin and double room) to stay in one room together - not impressed!! Naturally we kicked up a fuss and got the rooms we had booked but beware - they seem to overbook the hotel on a regular basis as they told us that everyone did that!! Friends stayed at Alp Pasa and it was much nicer - I would stay there over the Mediterrea.

The Mediterra Art Hotel was a decent property--comfortable rooms, nice environs, good services. I had two problems with it: 1) our air conditioning didn't work properly, but this wasn't apparent until it was too late at night to do anything about it. When I reported this to the front dest the next day, their first reaction was to deny it, saying that a couple had just stayed there a week without complaining, and asking me to demonstrate how I had set the controller (which I had set correctly). They finally apologized and thanked me for reporting it, but I don't know whether that resulted in the old unit being serviced. My other problem isn't the hotel's fault, but is something that travellers should be aware of. The hotel is located in the Old City of Antalya, which is extremely unfriendly for people travelling in their own autos. The streets are painfully narrow, and during the day you have to wait for merchants to pull their merchandise out of your way and for walkers to step aside so that you can proceed down these 10-foot-wide alleyways. It is nerve-wracking and slow, and it greatly compromises what would otherwise be the appeal of the Old City. For those using Antalya as a stepping-off point, I would avoid the Old City and find someplace more accessible.

The hotel is beautifully set in the old town and is imaculately looked after. The only down side is the fact that the Turkisk breakfast was not as good as some very basic pensions that we stayed in. Frozen tomatoes, no fresh orange juice and stale bread is not good and the fact that they had no Turkish yogurt for the honey was a real shame too. The nescafe out of the large heated vessel was like heated dish water and all the guests had to add more nescafe from the jar to create a half decent drink.

This was a great place to stay in Keliechi,Antalya. Keliechi is the old town (historiclly restored). Beautiful old buildings. Mediterra is in center of Kaliechi. Short walk to trolley and everything you would want to do. The staff was truly wonderful. They made our stay memorable. The only real complaint I could say is the beds could be more comfortable, but they're not that bad. My girlfriend and I were arriving from different places and I missed a flight, so I got there one day late. The staff made sure she had everything she needed until I got there. When we go back we will stay here again.

The hotel was great! The rooms were comfortable, the staff was great and the food was excellent. We had a very nice stay here. The breakfast we great every morning, except there wasn't much variety from day to day. Also, the courtyard is quite small, so don't plan to soak much sun in there. But it is still a great place. The staff even set up a small air conditioned room for me when I had some gentleman come to visit on business. Overall, a great place in the heart of the old town!
